Prototype Models

Prototype models are the most important stage in the development of a new design. Alberta Industrial Models has constructed prototypes ranging from telecommunication equipment to aircraft. Created from an initial design the prototype model aids the design team with invaluable visual information. A prototype creates a solid or computer generated 3-D object with which the design team can get a feel for the product. By doing this, the design team can make changes and advancements in their product before it reaches the production stage.

Here at Alberta Industrial Models, we are capable of creating both solid and computer generated prototypes. A solid model can be made fully functional, allowing it to be used for advertising, product testing and/or trade shows. A computer model is also an invaluable sales and marketing tool, and can be easily converted to a format read by most CNC and SLA machines.
